The Problem

Uncontrolled sand mining is a huge problem in The Gambia. In the village Gunjur mining companies are now digging away the last dune that protects the village from the ocean.

Besides the fact that these mining activities are a serious danger to the village, they also wiped away a lot of natural forest land.

REFORESTATION IS THE ONLY SOLUTION WE HAVE TO COOL DOWN THE PLANET
