mission & vision
Our goal is to grow one million trees by 2023 and reforest 5000 hectares of degraded land in the Gambia aiming to employ at least 250 people in our tree nurseries and other projects.
Raising awareness and educating people about sustainable forest management is a must to stop further degradation.
Besides growing as many trees as possible we focus on creating jobs in tree nurseries and other projects.
The only way to stop the fast degradation of soil, and the of vanishing groundwater is to reforest degraded areas.
Our mission is to start a tree growing revolution and to create more awareness about restoration of forests and degraded land.
Restore degraded landscapes
We aim to develop a Gambia where youths are leading in environmental awareness and sustainably manage their forest and environment.
The alarming state of the Gambian Environment
Degradation of land in the Gambia is alarming. Sand mining and deforestation are the main causes of this problem. Many poor people are cutting down all their trees to sell the wood, then sell their land for a bargain and migrate to Europe. We can stop this trend by helping them to make a business in growing trees.
REFORESTATION IS THE ONLY SOLUTION WE HAVE TO COOL DOWN THE PLANET
Our goal is to grow one million trees by 2023 and reforest 5000 hectares of degraded land in the Gambia aiming to employ at least 250 people in our tree nurseries and other projects before 2023.
